Season three begins here! As may be the norm for men of a certain age, D and Andrew once again find themselves watching Joseph Sargent's 1987, JAWS: THE REVENGE, and, once again, find themselves asking the same question… why are they watching this damn movie.

Season Two Finale! D and Andrew finally get to 1982's POLTERGEIST (a.k.a. the only good one; not just good, great!). As they watch the film, they talk about pot-smoking parents, good eighties dads, Tobé or Stevé, great special effects, and the importance of whispering. Stayed tuned after the commentary to hear what's coming next season!

D and Andrew hunker down and try to get to the OTHER SIDE (all two and a half minutes of it). Listen as they wonder where Craig T. Nelson's mullet goes, what Will Sampson actually does in this movie, how Carol Anne's learned so many new words in just a year, and muse if this one's actually much worse than POLTERGEIST III.

Season two kicks off with POLTERGEIST III, which had really better be the worst in the franchise because it's an exceptionally boring stinker. As the "action" unfolds, D and Andrew talk Chicago movies, angry Nancy Allen, good dad Tom Skerritt, and ghosts driving cars.

The Season One finale–Halloween "ends" here for 709 Meridian as D and Andrew talk through the original 1978 Halloween, directed by John Carpenter, starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and Brian Andrews as Tommy Doyle. In the penultimate episode of Season One, D and Andrew return to the original original Halloween sequel continuity and watch Rick Rosenthal (and John Carpenter)'s Halloween II (1981). Listen as they muse on Jamie Lee Curtis's "Scream Queen" finale, Donald Pleasence's (relative) sobriety, the Universal backlot, and the wondrousness of Dean Cundey's photography.

With the end of season one (and Halloween) in sight, D and Andrew get back to the original timeline with 1988's RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS, when the franchise still got recognizable character actors, Donald Pleasence did stunts (sort of), and the movies weren't stupefyingly bad.

D and Andrew sit down and suffer through Halloween H40: Strode vs. Myers, discussing the South Carolina-looking suburban Illinois, Jamie Lee Curtis's hair (and her character versus H20), and Judy Greer's Karenness.

This episode, D and Andrew struggle to stay awake and interested enough to survive 2002's HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION, directed by Rick Rosenthal, and starring Brad Loree as Michael Myers. Also starring a very embarrassed Jamie Lee Curtis, Busta Rhymes, Tyra Banks, and a cast of forgettable early aughts actors. But also Katee Sackhoff. Enjoy?
